South India Temples Tour 4N/5D

Upon arrival at Madurai Railway station /Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and transfer to your Hotel. After check-in and freshen up you will be leaving for a Temple tour of Madurai, you will be seeing Ayiramkal Mandapam inside Meenakshi Amman Temple built in 1569 AD, it houses 1000 Pillars and known to be carved out of single rock. When you move forward you will see the main deity of Sri Sundareswaran (Lord Shiva) and later on attend to the evening ceremony at the main compound of Meenakshi Amman temple. Return back to hotel and stay overnight.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Rameswaram which is 3-4 hrs. drive away. Upon arrival you can check in into hotel and later proceed for Rameswaram Temple (Lord Shiva) built once again by Pandya Dynasty in 12th century houses one of the 12 jyotirlingas. It is said that quest for salvation can be completed only if a Hindu devotee visits Varanasi and Rameswaram. After this we move forward to Agnitheertam known as a place where Mother Sita took bath in sea before proceeding towards Ayodhya ji with Shri Ram. You may keep a pair of clothes for changing if you want to get down in water. Later, we will proceed for Dhanush Kodi temple where The Army of Shri Ram started building Bridge to Sri Lanka to kill the Demon Ravan and Bring Mother Sita back. In the last, we will be going to see the pamban bridge which was opened in 1914 and connects the mainland mandapam with Rameswaram and Pamban island. Later return back to hotel and stay overnight.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Kanyakumari which is 5-6 hours away by road. Once reach to Kanyakumari, check in into the hotel and freshen up. Later proceed for a tour covering Kanyakumari Devi Temple, Vivekananda Rock and Thiruvalluvar Statue. In the last, spend some time at Kanyakumari Beach and enjoy the sunset. Evening return back to hotel and stay overnight.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed for Trivandrum City tour. During this tour you will be visiting the holy shrine of Hindu’s – Swami Padmanabha Temple famous for its richest hidden treasure (only Hindu’s allowed). After this, you will be visiting Kuthira Malika (temple adjacent palace), Kanakkunnu palace, Nappier Zoo, Sree Chithra art Gallery. You will also be covering legislative building of Kerala state. Return to Hotel and Stay overnight at hotel.
